Training Programmes

Lean Training Programmes for Irish Businesses

Choose the right Lean pathway for your team. From one-day simulations to full Practitioner programmes — every journey starts with a clear, practical first step.

Business Simulation

Business Simulation

A practical, one-day Lean business simulation designed to help organisations experience Lean in action — and decide what to do next.

Best If

  • Lean is new or unevenly understood
  • You want a low-risk starting point
  • You’re exploring whether Lean is the right fit
Lean Essentials

Lean Essentials

For participants who would benefit from building confidence and fundamentals before leading a full project.

Best If

  • Lean thinking and problem-solving
  • Improving Standard Work in a local area
  • Developing habits and confidence
Lean Practitioner

Lean Practitioner

This pathway is confirmed after the simulation and assessment phase, once readiness is clear.

Best If

  • Own or strongly influence a process
  • Have access to data and decision-makers
  • Can commit time to delivering a real project

A New Approach

A New Approach to Lean Training

Based on feedback from recent cohorts, we made a small but important change.

In some cases, organisations invested in a full Practitioner programme before it was clear whether a nominee was ready — due to role scope, time pressures, or access to data.

The result? Unnecessary risk for the business and frustration for the participant.

Our new pathway solves this directly.

Training Options

How It Works

This ensures every participant is set up to succeed.

Step 1 — Business Simulation & Assessment

Everyone starts here. Participants experience Lean in action and complete a short practical task.

Step 2 — Readiness Confirmed

Each participant is assessed based on engagement during the simulation, quality of the 10 Wastes task, and scope of the proposed project outline.

Step 3 — Right Pathway, Right Time

Participants then progress to Lean Practitioner pathway, Lean Essentials, or pause with no further spend committed.

Investment & Value Protection

Fees Unchanged. Risk Reduced.

Organisations only commit to the full Practitioner pathway once the conditions for success are in place.

Fees Unchanged

Same price structure — you only pay for the elements used by each participant

No Forced Progression

Our assessment ensures participants are ready for the more demanding Lean Practitioner Pathway

No ‘Failed’ Participants

The old programme had no entry safeguard to protect both coaches and participants
