Therese Walsh is a seasoned transformation leader with over 25 years of cross-industry experience driving operational excellence across Ireland, the UK, and Europe. Her career spans key leadership roles in multinational corporations, where she consistently delivered high-impact results through Lean and change management strategies.
Therese held several senior operational roles before becoming Regional Lead for a global Lean transformation initiative. Over a three-year period, she and her team developed leadership and employee Lean capabilities that significantly enhanced business performance. Key achievements included:
- Delivering over $15 million in productivity gains (a 22% improvement) through the execution of 30+ Lean change programmes across securities and fund services.
- Partnering with senior executives to secure alignment and sponsorship for strategic cost reductions.
- Enhancing engagement across a workforce of 3,000+ by embedding effective communication and change management practices.
In 2014, Therese founded her own consultancy, where she has since partnered with clients across public and private sectors to optimise performance, embed continuous improvement, and develop high-performing teams. Her approach blends expert Lean knowledge with deep experience in change management, leadership development, and coaching—ensuring practical, measurable results.
Her diverse client portfolio includes the Central Bank of Ireland, Royal College of Physicians Ireland, Department of Education, Kellanova, Ornua, WIX Ltd, Byrne Wallace Shields, CBRE Ltd, Glanbia, Laois County Council, The Arts Council, and Link Credit Union, among others.
Therese is also committed to giving back. She serves as Chairperson of VBOM for Laois Domestic Abuse Services Ltd. and acts as the Ireland Country Lead for the Global Change Management Institute.
An avid traveller and adventurer, Therese spent 10 months solo backpacking through South America and Asia in 2018–2019. She enjoys hiking, running, and walking, and has completed treks to Machu Picchu, the Lost City in Colombia, Poon Hill in Nepal, and the Camino de Santiago for charity.
